Jason Mitchell
Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities
As Chief Financial Officer, Jason is responsible for all facets of accounting and finance for the company. This includes financial reporting to our investors and financial institutions, tax preparation and tax planning and investor distributions to name a few. He is also responsible for the financial modeling during our due diligence of projects as well as modeling how certain decisions impact our investments after acquisition. Jason also sources debt, establishes and maintains lender relations.
Experience
Prior to joining Brue Baukol Capital Partners in 2014, Jason started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in the Denver office in 1996. In 1999, he joined a real estate development company where they built several resorts in Mexico and the Turks and Caicos as well as some large domestic developments.
Professional & Community Involvement
Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado and licensed real estate broker in the State of California. Supporter of academics and athletics at the University of Colorado.
Education
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Colorado where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Personal
During his free time, Jason enjoys skiing (snow and water), driving his vintage Corvette and watching his two children compete in the sport of the moment.
