Responsibilities

While opening Brue Baukol’s Minneapolis office, Gordy will be responsible for generating new investment and development opportunities while bringing new investors to the BBCP investment platform.

Experience

Coming from Minneapolis-based United Properties, Gordy served in both development and capital markets roles. In his development capacity, Gordy oversaw the completion of Prime Therapeutics' new 400,000-square-foot corporate campus in Eagan as well as development of The Nordic – an office and residential mixed-use development project in the North Loop. More recently, he oversaw capital markets activities for United Properties' various platforms in the Twin Cities and other select markets. Prior to United Properties, Gordy was a Director with Hines in Denver where he oversaw complex downtown development projects totaling over 1 million gross square feet.

Professional & Community Involvement

Gordy sits on the Steering Committee for NuLoop partners and is an active member of NAIOP’s mentorship program. He also serves on the Park Commission for the City of Orono.

Education

Gordy received a BS degree in Finance from Miami (Ohio) University. He later received a Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg). Gordy currently holds Series 7 & 63 securities licenses.

Personal

A Minnesota native, Gordy lived in Denver for 15+ years after college and returned to Minnesota with his family in 2016. Gordy and his wife Addie, two boys Ford (12) and Sy (9) and their golden retriever Rosie live in the Western suburbs of Minneapolis. Gordy is an avid golfer and skier and enjoys fishing, music, and coaching youth sports.
