James Priestley

Responsibilities

As vice president, James oversees a subset of BBCP’s portfolio. On a regular basis he is collaborating with tenants, general contractors, architects, brokers, and investors during all phases of a project—acquisition, disposition, and development. James provides supervision and direction on marketing, branding, and investor relation efforts for the company. The firm also utilizes James’ unique background to review and analyze environmental reports during property acquisition and site development.

Experience

Prior to joining Brue Baukol Capital Partners in 2013 (as employee number one), James served a short stint as an exploration geologist at a small private oil & gas company based in Oklahoma City.

Professional & Community Involvement

Downtown Denver Leadership Program Participant, Member of NAIOP’s Developing Leaders, Extreme Community Makeover Volunteer.

Education

James holds a Master degree in Hydrology from Colorado School of Mines. Prior to Mines, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences in conjunction with a Business Administration Minor from The University of Tulsa.

Personal

James enjoys staying active in the mountains, playing basketball, brewing beer and spending time with wife, friends and family.
